Archive for December, 2007We drove from Tucson to Phoenix today. We are getting together with Faith and friends for New Years Eve. I can’t wait, it’s been way too long since I’ve seen Faith. We are going out tonight to bring in the New Year. I believe it’s our first time ever going out on New Years Eve. We normally stay home and have a special celebration on our own and watch the fireworks at Universal Studios. This will be a very special time out tonight. We did a little tourist stuff today. We went down to Tubac, it is a little historic town with very unique shops about 1 hour from Tucson and 25 miles from Nogales Mexico. I was good and didn’t buy anything. Just helped family pick out some neat things. We stopped to eat dinner at a Mexican Restaurant right in Tubac. It is been open for over 60 years and is suppose to be known for their famous Margarita’s. Of course we all had to at least have one! And I will say they do have one of the best Margarita’s I have had in a long time and they were very strong. They did have great food too. It was a great time! By the way I drove home so everyone else got to enjoy another Margarita. Wasn’t that nice of me, lol! Have a great evening! Hugs & Kisses Summer
I had a wonderful Christmas and hope you did also! It was a little chilly but the fire in the fireplace warmed things up. It was a nice morning, with a great breakfast. We opened our gifts next to the fire. The dogs helped us open some of the gifts it was a fun time! Santa left some nice gifts for them as well. We had a nice relaxing day with great food! We don’t get many days though out the year we can take the time to really enjoy and make it a special day with friends and family! I can’t believe it’s Christmas Eve. I’m so excited to see what Santa brings me, how about you? Really though I don’t want anything, I’m just happy to be in Arizona with my family. It’s been way too long since I’ve been here for Christmas so this is a very special gift for me. We’ve been having a great time talking, relaxing and getting our awesome food ready for dinner. Everyone has pitched in and we’ve been having a wonderful time. We just started a fire and now it’s time to sit back and watch a movie and wait for dinner to finish baking.
